I’m Sally Tudhope, and I’ve been building websites since 2015.
Sally Tudhope Creative is my web design studio, and I’m an ‘agency of one’. That means my focus is on you and your project, from the first call to the launch of your website. Nothing gets handed off to a junior or outsourced overseas. You and I are a team – for the duration of the project and beyond.
I work with consultants and small business owners – experienced, capable people going out under their own name, often with a lot riding on it. It matters to me because I’ve stood exactly there myself, having worked in both government and the public sector before starting my own business, and I know the challenges of being your own boss.
Many of my clients have been with me for years – returning for website redesigns when their business changes. Some entrepreneurial types even start new businesses while still running the first one, and need another website. Whether the relationship is long term or shorter, the care and support is the same – I want you to succeed.
Weekends see me in my garden, mainly, because apparently weeds won’t take the hint and stay weeded.
The Process
1 Free Consultation
This is where we get together on a Zoom call and talk about your business, your customers, and what you want your website to accomplish. We’ll also determine if we’re a good fit to work together.
2 Proposal
Next step is a Proposal which includes the scope, pricing and timeline. Once that’s agreed, we’ll both sign a copy of our Agreement and you’ll pay a proportion of the total project cost to secure your place in my calendar.
3 Prep Work
I’ll send you a Discovery document for you to complete and we’ll then have a call to discuss it in detail. We’ll also go over the other assets we’ll need – logo, brand direction (if you already have one), content gathering etc.
4 Design and Build
Here’s where we get into the real work. We’ll get clear on your design direction – colours, fonts, overall look – and then I’ll design and you’ll review until you’re happy.
5 Test, review, launch
Once the website is ready and your final balance has been paid, I’ll do my final tests before getting the website live on your domain. I’ll also take care of the things that need to wait until the site is live, like connecting Google Search Console so Google knows you exist, sorting redirects from your old site (if you had one) etc.
Aftercare
If you’ve chosen to host with me, my support doesn’t end here. I’ll be looking after the security of your website, with all the technical updates that entails. And for anything else, I’m only an email away.
